Every once in a while, I have my "I wish I'd said that" moment, when someone else says something that's just right. And I didn't think of it first.
Today's example, via HotAir. Donald Sensing at Winds of Change quotes Loren Thompson of the Lexington Institute: "The controversy over what to do about Iraq has congealed into two camps: supporters of the President who lack a clear plan for achieving victory, and critics of the President who have a detailed plan for America's defeat."
Extra: The story is told about Oscar Wilde that upon hearing James Whistler make a clever quip he said to Whistler, "I wish I'd said that." Whistler's riposte was, "You will, Oscar, you will."
